Moving on from the photo set I ran through the cat detector program in Round 2, this time around I’m processing images with people and animals. The results are rather interesting.

Failure! 0 cats in the source image, but 4 identified during the analysis. One reason the program seems to have failed is that it doesn't consolidate overlapping images.

Failure! 0 cats in the source image, but 2 identified during the analysis. I suspect that the lack of contrast between Bentley's head and the Christmas tree confused the program.

Ron and Obie
Failure! 1 cats in the source image, but no cats identified during the analysis. I think the image's low resolution and the low contrast on Obie's face worked against the program's effectiveness.

Chewie and Vincent
Success! No cats in the source, none detected. Not really a surprise since Chewie is barely visible in this photo.
