This is just a quick post to say that I wired the circuit outlined in the Arduino Robotic Arm instructable, though I chose to use a separate 4-cell AA battery pack to power the servos because I’m guessing that the current required for these servos once they are under load will be far too much for the Arduino’s power supply.

Next Steps
Now that the circuit is working, I will move onto creating the arm components. The instructable I started with used cardboard, but I don’t see that being very practical given the weight of the servos.
